Check out the cool new logo and name!! Tryouts are this Sunday and next Sunday. Play Ball!!Big news for the Interior baseball community! 🦆⚾️
We are thrilled to announce that the Alaska Wild is officially rebranding. Starting this season, we will take the field as the Chena River Ducks!
Why the Change? The Chena River is the lifeblood of our community, winding its way through both Fairbanks and North Pole. By becoming the Ducks, we are celebrating the connection between our two districts. Plus, with our home at Arco Field sitting right on the banks of the river, the name truly brings us home.
This isn’t just a new look; it’s a commitment to unity. Whether you’re a Malemute or a Patriot, when we step onto the diamond this summer, we play as one.
New Look, Same Mission While the name and logo are changing, our goal remains the same: providing premier American Legion Baseball for athletes ages 13–19. We’re building leaders, developing elite talent, and representing the Interior with pride.
Ready to join the flock? Make sure you’re registered for our upcoming tryouts! Check out the event details on our page for more info. forms.gle/eVyEauvZZUqzL3eW8

We can’t LOVE this enough!! A true Fairbanks treasure and a legend.FNSB Mayor Grier Hopkins, City of Fairbanks Mayor Mindy O’Neall and City of North Pole Mayor Larry Terch are proud to PROCLAIM 2026 Glenn Hackney Golden Heart Clean Up Day.💛 💛 💛
Glenn was a familiar face throughout the Fairbanks community and deeply involved in his service and caring for the place he called home. In this photo, Glenn can be seen giving litter a well-deserved “thumbs down”👎 👎 –a fitting reminder of his passion for keeping our town beautiful.
As we come together this cleanup day, we honor Glenn’s legacy of pride and love for Fairbanks. We also encourage everyone to lend a hand, pick up litter, and clean up the mess we made all winter!
Cleanup day is May 16th so be sure to stop by the Central Recycling Facility, Golden Heart Waste, Cowles Heating, Green Star or Scouting America to get your yellow and green bags!
